About J.E Creations
Artist Statement
I am a well known artist who has been painting in Fresno California since 2010. I have painted for various FUSD sites prior to being a vendor that includes donating to a mural king elementary school, painting at sequoia middle school, Baird elementary school and Kepler charter school. I have also painted for st Agnes hospital in which I donated a mural during the pandemic, I painted and designed a mural for our local Amazon warehouse and headquarters in Fresno, painted various murals in downtown Fresno, been apart of art exhibitions for Fresno city hall, Fresno arts council, Fresno fair and arte Americas.
As a vendor for Fresno Unified school district since 2020 my first experience was creating and painting murals with students at various FUSD sites for the first two years as part of an after school program that was created by expanded learning and it was its first of its kind for FUSD. It was an overwhelming and rewarding experience for me and the students, the students got to experience the impact a mural has on their school and community and the feeling of accomplishment when it was over. It’s something they can look back on forever and say they were a part of that experience. I painted for high school, middle school and elementary schools, the ages ranged from 17 years old to 6. The students learned the process of the mural from sketching to designing, and the fundamentals of the paint to use and which type of brush to use. The after school mural program lasted until 2022.
Since 2023 I have been doing our after school art enrichment programs in which my staff and myself have been well known artists in the community and we have been teaching and instructing students in art development and art exploration. The students learn various methods from the 4 of my staff in which all have special artistic abilities in various fields that include book illustration, print making, painting and designing and painting using various mediums.
